First is Surfacesales Mold Help, the referral service. We take your request and route it. We do not visit your home or do any mold work.

Second is an independent local provider. This is the business that inspects, tests or cleans, and it sets its own price. Providers do the work.

What Happens After You Reach Out

It is a short path:

• You send a request or request a callback to check provider availability.
• You describe what you see, where it is and when it started.
• We connect you with a provider in the Akron area that offers the service you need.
• The provider contacts you to talk details and set a visit if needed.

What to Ask a Provider

A good provider will not mind questions. Try these:

• Are you licensed or certified where Ohio requires it? Ask for details.
• What does the visit include, and what does it not include?
• If testing is needed, who reads the results and how are they shared?
• How will you contain the work area so spores do not spread?
• Will you fix or point out the moisture source, like a leak or damp basement wall?
• Can I get the quote in writing, with the scope listed?
• How will you help document damage if I plan to file an insurance claim?

Ask about cost too. Typical U.S. prices vary a lot by job size and conditions, so a written quote matters more than any number you hear first.
